Basics
Ask Price
The lowest price a seller is willing to accept.
Full Definition
The ask price (also called offer price) is the minimum price that a seller is willing to accept for an asset. When you buy (go long), you buy at the ask price. The ask is always higher than the bid price. The difference between bid and ask is the spread, which represents an immediate cost when entering a trade.
Example
If EUR/USD shows 1.1050/1.1052, the ask is 1.1052. If you want to buy EUR/USD, your order will be filled at 1.1052.
